This article attempts to deeply analyze the relationship between art design and materials from the aspects of the connotation of material aesthetics and embodiments, the causes material aesthetics and comprehensive materials of art, to provide some useful

As a kind of high-level creative activities of human being, art design nature cannot do with

4、out material support. Art design is more the embodiment of the thinking activity of art, and the material is more the carrier and the 2ultimate manifestation of thinking activity. With the development of modern art, materials even change from passive to active, and actively participate in the creati

5、on of art design. Effect of material in art design is mainly reflected in two aspects. One is the functional aspects, including physical and chemical properties of materials, and the basic features of materials; the other is the aesthetics of materials, which is mainly the material beauty. In genera

6、l, the requirements for the function and aesthetic feeling of materials in art design are not the same. Some first consider functions, such as architectural design, environmental art design, industrial design, the pursuit of new materials and new technology. Only when the functional problems are sol

7、ved can the aesthetic feeling of materials makes sense. There are not many requirements for some types of the art design with a strong aesthetic feeling to functional materials, and even are not essential. In decorative art and design, comprehensive materials of art, few material functions will not

8、satisfy the need to create and the beauty of materials is crucial. Moreover, after the functional problems are solved, the beauty is the eternal theme of people not to pursue. And it is not difficult 3to understand the reasons why material aesthetics, i.e. the emotion factors are paid much attention

9、 to in art design. 1. Form aesthetic feeling materials produce 1-1. Beauty of nature Natural beauty is one of the forms of beauty the art design gives to the materials. Usually it goes from the natural environment and the state to obtain materials. First of all, take photos of the material surface t

10、exture by cameras and other equipment, acquiring texture effect which is one of the most natural forms. Secondly, describe in-depth the real texture and obtain a texture effect through the method of drawing and sketching, and other hand-painted methods. The characteristics of these methods are the m

11、ost vivid and have a creative power. Thirdly, make full use of the computer technology, which can process the natural texture, but can also create a texture effect. Fourthly, we can use the means of artistic expression, through the transference of material surface texture or color mixing, spraying,

12、rubbing, gravity flow, infiltration, on printing, embossing, collage technique to indirectly create texture effect. The natural beauty of materials and texture is the revealing of the state of nature, which belongs to the accidental form. Because there are a lot 4of natural form which is formed by c

Even the indirect accidental form performance reflects the peoples creativity, it is the result of selection after the application of repeated practice, and the result that will transform the accidental into inevitable. 14、he natural beauty of the material must be based on the true feelings, such as the walls of years of weathering and abrasion, the iron whose surface is oxidized, the road stampeded by passers-by months and years. 1-2. Beauty of form The beauty of form is to experience the beauty of materials mainly f

15、rom the perspective of the pattern. Through the materials better show and create the form, which can really meet the requirements of form beauty.
