Major problems in the current waterproofing industry of China 2.1 Low-grade and poor products dominate the market affecting the producti

6、on and development of the new advanced waterproof materials. 2.2 There are few types of modified asphalt sheet and polymer sheet, which makes it difficult to form product series. 2.3 Products standards are made by multi-industry departments. The indexes of some standards are too low compared to fore

7、ign standards. 2.4 Waterproof application technology system is badly accessorized for a lack of suppliers of spare parts, accessories and application equipment. 2.5 A lot of small application teams and workers of low professional level pose a threat to projects, often causing leakage. 2.6 Cost budge

8、t for waterproofing projects is too low and pricing is unreasonable, which has a negative effect on their long durability. 3. Measure and policy suggestions 3.1 The development goal and technology guideline for waterproof materials are: making major effort to develop SBS and APP modified asphalt she

9、ets, actively promoting polymer sheets, properly develop environment-friendly waterproof coatings, develop high-grade elastic sealants, and limiting or banning poor and backward products. 3.2 Strengthen management, improve and rectify the market order 3.3 Encourage waterproofing manufacturers to imp

10、rove their scale and professional level, increase product types thus sharpening their comprehensive competitive edge in the market. 3.4 Check the standards of waterproof materials to speed up the step to reach foreign standards. 3.5 Make technology progress through innovations, encourage research an
