25、年只有 0.41 本。5 年前，中小学生每人每年借阅图书大约 10 本，而现在还不足 1 本。这实在是一件很危险的事情，因为人的素质就是在这样一个过程中静悄悄发生变化。当然，最根本的还是学校的读书，因为一个人的阅读兴趣，阅读习惯是在学校养成的，而学校的读书，属语文科最为需要，因为语文教育的终极目的是为了学生一生发展奠定宽厚的文化根基，为学生人文素质的形成提供强有力的支撑。然而，我校地处尤溪城郊，又是一所新办学校，学生大多来源于普通居民家庭，街面库区移民，菜农多，个体户多，移民多，这些家庭缺少基本的读书氛围，很多学生的父母几乎每夜都在电视前或者搓麻将，打扑克中度过，学生自然是课外阅读量少，知识面

26、过于封闭、狭窄、单一，习作上常是畏难情绪重，且内容单调、干巴，无真情实感。为了解决这一问题，我们学校根据新课程理念和学生发展的需要，结合本校实际，几经周密论证，确立了“学生课外阅读研究”课题，由阮绍书校长领头向市教科所申报。得到市教科所的鼎力关爱，被确定为市级重点课题后，便有了广大语文教师的积极参与，群策群力，认真实施。所谓的学生课外阅读，就是指学生在课外的各种子独立阅读活动。它是课外语文活动中最重要、最普通、最经常的形式，是课堂阅读的继续与扩展，是阅读能力的训练必不可少的组成部分。其实，从本质上说，一切的语文改革都应当指向大量阅读，因为只有当学生的阅读量上去了，语言积累才能成为现实，只有具备

27、了丰厚的语言文字积累，学生听说读写能力的发展才有基础。二、理论依据1、新基础教育倡导者朱永新教授说：“读书不但可以提升个人精神生命的质量，而且对于民族和国家具有特殊意义，因为一个民族的精神境界在很大程度上取决于这个民族的阅读水平。世界上那些生命力强大的民族，几乎都是热爱阅读的民族，善于阅读的民族。 ”2、苏霍姆林斯基曾经说过这样一段意味深长的话：“学校里可能什么都足够多，但如果没有为人的全面发展及其丰富的精神生活所需的书，或如果不热爱书和冷淡地对待书，这不算是学校；相反，学校里可能许多东西都缺乏，许多方面都可能是不足的，简陋的，但如果有永远为我们打开世界之窗的书，这就是学校了。 ”3、吕淑湘先
