17、,are,was,were);have(has,had);do(does, did); shall(should); will(would) be 作为助动词,主要用来构成进行时态和被动语态。We are working hard in the garden. 我们在花园里辛勤劳动。(构成现在进行时) The house was painted purple.房子被刷成紫色的。(构成被动语态) do 作为助动词,用来构成疑问句、否定句、强调句。Do you live in Shanghai? 你住在上海吗?(构成疑问句)I dont like to have hamburgers. 我不喜欢吃

18、汉堡包。(构成否定句) Do come please.一定要来。(构成强调句) have 作为助动词,用来构成完成时态。Have you finished the work?你的工作完成了没有?(构成现在完成时)shall 和 will 作为助动词,用来构成将来时态。(shall仅用于第一人称;will可用于各种人称)I will call you this evening.今晚我会打电话给你。 (构成一般将来时) What shall we do next week?下个星期我们做什么? (构成一般将来时)4. 情态动词:无人称和数的变化。表示说话人的语气和情态。除了ought,used外,

19、后加不带to 的动词不定式。情态动词后面直接加动词原形can(could)能,可能;may(might)许可,也许;must(必须);have to(不得不);shall(should)应当,要;will(would)愿意,要;need需要;dare敢。推测:might或许may可能must一定情态动词答语1、Need I -? Yes, you must. No, you cant.动词的基本形式 绝大多数动词都有五种基本形式:动词原形、一般现在时第三人称单数、过去式、过去 分词和现在分词。 A. 第三人称单数形式的构成 一般现在时主语是第三人称单数时,谓语动词后要加

21、s或es,其变化规则与名词变复数的方法大体相同: 1. 一般情况下只在动词后加s,如workworks, writewrites。 2. 以s, x, sh, ch结尾的动词,后加es,如guessguesses, mixmix, finishfinishes, catchcatches。 3. 以辅音字母加y结尾的动词,改y为ies,如studystudies。 注:不规则变化的有havehas, beis, gogoes, dodoes等。 B. 现在分词的构成 1. 一般情况下在动词后加ing,如studystudying, workworking。 2. 以不发音的字母e结尾的动词,先

22、去掉e再加ing,如writewriting, movemoving。 3. 以一个元音字母和一个辅音结尾的重读音节结尾的动词,要双写末尾一个辅音字母,再加ing,如getgetting, beginbeginning。 4. 以ie结尾的名词,一般将ie改为y,再加ing,如lielying, diedying, tietying。 注:(1) 以l结尾的动词,尾音节重读时,双写l,如controlcontrolling;尾音节不重读时,双不双写都可以,如traveltraveling(美) /travelling(英) 。(2) 特例:picnicpicnicking。 Lie 撒谎 li

24、,如controlcontrolled;尾音节不重读时,双不双写都可以,如traveltraveled(美) /traveled(英) 。(2) 特例:picnicpicnicked。另外,还有很多动词的过去式和过去分词是不合乎上述规则的,需要熟记。主 谓 一 致A.语法一致原则: 主语和谓语动词之间的一致关系主要表现在“数”的形式上,即用作主语的 名词词组和谓语动词在单、复数形式上的一致。1单数或不可数名词作主语,谓语动词用单数;复数名词作主语,谓语动词用复数。The teacher is here and the students are there老师在这里,学生在那边。2each,ev

25、ery,neither,either作主语或修饰主语时,谓语动词用单数。如: Each of the rooms is full of people每间屋子都挤满了人。3主语后接with,together,with,but,like,as well as,except等短语作定语时,谓语不受定语影响。The teacher together with his students is going there on foot老师和他的学生一起步行到达那里。4some-,any-,no-,every-与-body,-one,-thing构成的复合不定代词作主语时,谓语动词用单数。如: Everyon

26、e seeks happiness每个人都追求幸福。5动词不定式、动词的-ing形式或从句等作主语时,谓语动词常用单数。如:What we need is time我们所需要的就是时间。To enjoy life is to enjoy happiness享受生活就是享受幸福。6某些只有复数形式的名词作主语,谓语动词用复数。这类名词常见的有clothes,trousers, shorts, pants, shoes, gloves, scissors等。如:My clothes are usually made by my mother我的衣服通常是由妈妈做的。7由and或bothand连接的

27、并列主语,谓语动词用复数。如:Both rice and wheat are grown in our country.大米和小麦在我们国家都种植。8pair ofkind of等表示数量的名词短语修饰主语时,谓语动词要与pair等名词的形式一致。如:A pair of glasses is lying on the table一副眼镜在桌上。Fifty pair of pants are made in our factory each day每天我们的工厂能生产五十条裤子。9What引导的主语从句,谓语动词采用单数形式,如表语是复数或what从句是带有复数意义的并列结构,主语的谓语动词也可

30、,company,class,group,government等,如果看作整体则谓语用单数,如果强调其中的每一个组成成员,谓语动词用复数。如:My family is a small one with three people我家是一个有三口人的小家庭。My family are all fond of sports我们全家都喜欢运动。值得注意的是people,police,cattle等集体名词没有单数形式,它们作主语时,谓语动词只能用复数。如:The police ale looking for him警察正在找他。3如果并列主语指的是同一人、同一事物或同一概念,其谓语动词要用单数形式,这

31、时and后的名词没有冠词。如:A knife and fork is used in the west餐刀和叉子常用在西方国家。4用作书名、剧名、报纸名、国家名等的复数名词作主语,其谓语动词用单数。如:The Times is a very interesting newspaper时代是一份很有趣的报纸。5以一ics结尾的学科名词mathematics,physics,politics等,以及抽象名词news等,属于形式复数意义单数,它们作主语时,谓语动词要用单数形式。如:Physics is an important subject in middle schools 物理在中学是一门重要
