3、景。通过对该学科重要科学发现的介绍引导学生培养科学的思维方式,同时使学生掌握发育及再生生物学热点研究领域的现状和发展远景。*课程简介( Description)Developmental biology is the study of how a single cell (fertilized egg) undergoes a variety of successive changes in space and time to produce a complex multicellular organism. These changes include cell proliferation a
4、nd differentiation, morphogenesis and pattern formation, which are under the control of intrinsic developmental cues and influenced by environmental effects. Development and Regeneration Biology provides an introduction to principles of developmental biology across a wide range of organisms. By lear
5、ning this course, students will understand the basic process and key events of animal and plant development, and how they are regulated by internal and external developmental cues. Furthermore, students will learn how developmental abnormalities impact human health and the application prospect of th
6、e arising regeneration biology in medicine. In addition to the training of scientific thinking by introducing the distinguished history of most important scientific findings in this subject, students will be also kept updated the new looks in developmental and regeneration biology research and futur
