However, with the increasing opening-up of domestic market as well as the acceleration of economic globalization, both international and domestic economic competitions have become more and more fierce. It has become a very realistic problem for smal
5、l and medium enterprises, which are among large enterprises, to survive, develop and prosper in this tide. The emergence of e-commerce helps small and medium enterprises break through traditional constraint and provides them with an opportunity to compete with large enterprises with an equal footing

In recent years, small and medium enterprises have played a more and more important role in developing Australias economy, increasing revenue and employment, activating market, and promoting social stability, and gradual become a major force to rejuvenate Australias economy. Therefore, Australia s
7、hould attach more importance to the important role of small and medium enterprises, and small and medium enterprises are also expecting to improve various conditions such as fund, information, talent, technology and management to better satisfy the 2 requirement of market diversification and for fur

E-commerce has become an important strategy for small and medium enterprises to maintain a consistent, fast and healthy development. Especially during the past few years, small and medium
10、 enterprises have obtained fast growth. In accordance with the statistics from related state department, by the end of October 2006, there were more than 420 thousand small and medium enterprises in Australia, accounting for 92.8% of the total enterprise, of which private enterprises were as many as
11、 over 380 thousand. The ultimate products and services produced by small and medium enterprises accounted for 58% of the GDP, their products accounted for 59% of the social sales, their taxes accounted for 50.2%, and 62.3% of the export volume was made by small and medium enterprises. In recent year
12、s, small and medium enterprises have played a more and more important role in developing Australias economy, increasing revenue and employment, activating market, and promoting social stability, and gradual become a major force to rejuvenate Australias economy.
