1、1基础教学部2前 言“实施项目课程改革、培养学生职业能力”是职业教育模式改革的最佳途径。作为旅游与酒店管理专业必不可少的一门专业基础能力课程，酒店英语课程教学必须以“职业相关性”为目标，以“项目过程”为导向，侧重培养学生职场环境下英语语言的使用能力。众所周知，课程目标只能通过课程教学内容来实现，选用或开发出适合旅游与酒店管理专业实际需求、切合学生英语知识技能起点的课程资源极其重要。基于此，本课题组经过一系列的调研、资料收集与整合、教学实践、行动研究等工作，开发出了适合我院“旅游管理、酒店管理”两个专业的专门用途英语教材。该教材前后经过了一年多的编纂与修订，已经渐趋完善，能够很好地将该学生的专业
