1、第十册六课教学设计单位及作者:碧波小学 聂丽欢教材版本:Primary English for China 课题名称:Unit 2 The natural world , Book 11教学内容及学生情况分析:本课重点是学习形容词最高级正确表达方式,前面第十册已经陆续出现了形容词和副词的比较级,本课主要是能用形容词最高级形式的对话,能对自然地理进行描述.引导学生将形容词的最高级做一个系统的学习,引导学生在实际生活中对副词的比较级和最高级进行正确地运用,让学生能用形容词最高级形式会话。学生升到高年级后,学习负担比低年纪年级重,作业相对增多,而对英语学习的要求也比以前高,成绩好的孩子已能理解学习的

2、社会意义,学习的责任感加强。普通学生对枯燥的说教和单一陈旧的训练方式都不感兴趣,成绩差学生自信心不足,从而产生自卑心理,注意力也比较难于集中到学习上来针对小学高年级的学生的需要,教师应在教学中不断激发并强化学生的学习兴趣,并引导他们逐渐将兴趣转化为稳定的学习动机,帮助他们树立自信心,认识自己学习的优势与不足,同时激励学生主动参与,乐于与他人合作,勤学好问,不断求新的积极性,发展个性,逐步培养学生不断发展的精神,形成独立自主地获取知识的能力。总体教学目标:语言知识目标和语言技能目标:1、 能听懂含有形容词最高级形式的对话以及对自然地理的描述。2、 能运用形容词最高级形式谈论物件和情况。3、 理解

3、阅读材料中所学的形容词最高级所表达的意义。学习策略目标和情感态度目标:1、自学策略 通过上网获取更多有关“世界之最”的信息,培养自学能力2、合作学习策略 将自己所搜集的信息与其他同学共享,互相学习,取长补短,使学生在与他人合作的过程中大胆使用英语,发展思维。3、使学生在学习中体验到成功与自信,激发学习英语的兴趣,逐渐养成自主学习的习惯,一定程度形成自主学习,培养有效交际、信息处理、英语思维能力。文化意识目标:主动了解世界和中国之最等方面的信息,并密切联系自己的日常生活,从而拓展视野,激发学习英语的兴趣。课时安排: Six periodsPeriod 1: Part A Period 2: Pa

6、teVI. Methods: Task-based language teaching method. Activity teaching method.Steps: I Warm-up1.Sing a song(唱歌目的是吸引学生的注意力,从而引导学生自然进入学习状态.)2. Free talk(通过自由问答复习旧 知识引出新知识 复习相关句型、词汇引入新课词汇。 )II RevisionHave some pairs of students of different height/weight/come to the front of the class. Ask the other st

7、udents to describe the students using taller than and shorter than, etc.III Presentation1(利用学生熟悉的地名如 KFC, Mcdonalds 来引导新课,以旧带新,自然导入新课。 ) Point to the picture of a mountain and ask the students “Whats this place?”, “Whats the name of this place?” Get the pupils answer “Its”2 Bring in a world map and

8、pictures of an island ,a mountain, a lake, a sea/ an ocean, and a river to teach the new words.3. Introduce the words long, high, mountain and island. Ask the students if they know the names of any mountains, rivers, islands, etc. allow them to speak in Chinese if they do not know the English names.

10、hey can point them out on the map. Practice1. (Books open.) Point to each picture. Read aloud or play the tape.2. Ask the students to repeat the words after me.3. Ask the pupils to work in groups of three.They should role-play the conversation.IV ConsolidationTell the students to close their books.

11、Ask the students to play a game in groups of four. Randomly point to the pictures on the board and ask “Whats the name of this place?”(创设情景使学生能够运用新知以及以往所学知识开展交际活动。) The first group to answer the question correctly gets one point. Continue asking questions until all the pictures are used. The group w

Then according to the pictures to say out some rules.(在布置学生说的任务时,教师一定要示范,可以找一个学生配合完成,利用学生熟悉的地名来进行渗透教学,激发学生的兴趣,再添加超市、餐厅等图片让学生自由发挥,对话内容贴近生活,让学生在情景中学,在情景中用,在情景中理解,有助于培养学生灵活运用流畅的英语

Prompt the students to answer Ruler 2 is the longer.2. Explain to the students that when comparing two people or thing, comparatives are

20、 used but when comparing three or more tings, superlatives are to be used.3. Introduce the words highest and longest.4. (Books closed.) Ask the students what the longest river in China is.IV. Practice1. (Books open.) Play the tape. Ask the students to repeat the sentences after the tape.2. Point to
