4、nown historical facts shock readers deeply, stimulating us to rethink the historical and practical significance of Nanjing Massacre. When talking about the difference from those books depicting “Nanjing Massacre“ written before, He Jianming said,“Those works before are of Limitations to some extent.

5、 For example, about twenty years ago,these books are mainly about the interview of survivals.l know there is a well- known book written by Iris Chang, a Chinese American writer, in which it sorts out materials exist in the West. Besides, Iris Chang found the diaries of John Rabe and thats her contri

6、bution. But all those books are not perfect. In other words, they didnt tell all of the “Nanjing Massacre“ and the description is relatively straightforward.As for me, lm a Local writer and I have Lots of research materials. So far, some experts, including some foreign experts, have been engaged in

7、studying Nanjing Massacre for tens of years; particularly, some Japanese soldiers who were involved in Nanjing Massacre wrote memoirs; in addition,some folk scholars once conducted investigation on the event. Base on such a Large number of materials,I am standing on the creation accumulated by those

8、 predecessors. Besides, my own advantage and specialty also contribute to the difference. Relatively speaking, my book records Nanjing Massacre more completely, objectively and comprehensively.“ “You know, lve been engaged in creating documentary works for decades of years and lve wrote almost all d

9、ifferent themes. For me writing is not a problem. If there is any difficulty in writing this book, it should be the short time in writing and Long time span to the event.Yet. writing is Like cooking: first,we have to prepare materials; then,whether the dish cooked is tasty or not is always determine

10、d by the cook.When I determined to write this old theme that has been written for many times, I knew the most important thing for me was to be distinctive and truly reveal the history of Japanese invaders slaughtering our Chinese people. This is not easy. But, my years of experience in specialty wri

It means a tall and strong person who Looks strong-built, but his body is mostly built with fat instead of muscle.“l always heard some teens in schools said they had nothing to do with the society and all what they should do was to do their own business.l think this is very dangerous if w

17、e are too self-centered,selfish,and Lack civic awareness.“ “For a writer, there is pain as well as excitement in the process of creating. The pain means that when you immerse yourself in this sad history, youll feel very painful. It surpasses the pain for the victims. I could see that even our excel

18、lent cultural relics and objects are robbed by Japanese, but our Chinese people are still numb and look coldly upon everything, which makes me especially painfuL Another aspect of pain is when I see the servility in our nation. When the enemies were slaughtering our compatriots,we were still enjoyin
