1、good morningboys and girls!im very glad to stand here and give you a short speech! to begin with ,i want to pop a question .does everybody dream a good dream last night? actually ,today i want to talk about dream with you. of course, what i want to talk is not a dream you have last night,but a dream

2、 about life.every one has dreams about life, different dreams at different life stage,and we need dreams to support us. dreams are like the stars we never reach in the sky,but like most mariners,we can chart our course by them. with the dream,we have a direction,with a direction, we were no longer c

3、onfused.with the dream, there is hope,with hope, we have the strength to fight.life is tough,and there are always ups and downs, maybe we fail in the way to our aims,and we may feel depressed ,whenever at this time, the dream in our heart can always confort us, encourage us ,and support us to move a

4、head .so bear in mind your dream and never give up your dream easily. look into the great peoples experiences, you may find the truth that good dream makes a good one, because there is nothing like a dream to create the future and build up our body .dreams-are sent by zeus. if you can dream it, you

5、can do it. as wishes may inspire dreams, so dreams may inspire wishes. how to get happiness there is no doubt that happiness is the most precious thing in the world. without it, life will be empty and meaningless. if you wish to know how to get happiness, you must pay attention to the following two

6、points.first, health is the secret of happiness (the key to happiness). only a strong man can enjoy the pleasure of life.secondly, happiness consists in contentment. a man who is dissatisfied with his present condition is always in distress.the value of time an english proverb says that time is mone

7、y. i consider it (this) wrong. why? because we all know that we can earn money be work but can not in any way get back time (in anyway). for this reason, we may (can) say that time is more valuable than money. many people do not know the value of time. it (this) is indeed a great pity. we must bear

16、rs ago, a great american, in whose symbolic shadow we stand signed the emancipation proclamation. this momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice. it came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of cap

17、tivity.it is obvious today that america has defaulted on this promissory note insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. instead ofdemand the riches of freedom and the security of justice.it would be fatal for the nation to overlook the urgency of the moment and to underestimate the determinati

18、on of the negro. this sweltering summer of the negros legitimate discontent will not pass until there is an invigorating autumn of freedom and equality. nineteen sixty-three is not an end, but a beginning.those who hope that the negro needed to blow off steam and will now be content will have a rude

19、 awakening if the nation returns to business as usual. there will be neither rest nor tranquility in america until the negro is granted his citizenship rights. the whirlwinds of revolt will continue to shake the foundations of our nation until the bright day of justice emerges.but there is something

20、 that i must say to my people who stand on the warm threshold which leads into the palace of justice. in the process of gaining our rightful place we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred.we must fore

21、ver conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline. we must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence. again and again we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with soul force.we cannot walk alone.and as we walk, we must make the pled

22、ge that we shall march ahead. we cannot turn back. there are those who arego back to mississippi, go back to alabama, go back to georgia, go back to louisiana, go back to the slums and ghettos of our northern cities, knowing that somehow this situation can and will be changed. let us not wallow in t

23、he valley of despair.i say to you today, my friends, that in spite of the difficulties and frustrations of the moment, i still have a dream. it is a dream deeply rooted in the american dream.i have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out thetrue meaning of its creed: we hold these

24、 truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal.i have a dream that one day on the red hills of georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slaveowners will be able to sit down together at a table of brotherhood.i have a dream that one day even the state of mississippi, a des

25、ert state, sweltering with the heat of injustice and oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.i have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.i have a dream t

26、oday.i have a dream that one day the state of alabama, whose governors lips are presently dripping with the words of interposition and nullification, will be transformed into a situation where little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with littlewhite boys and white girls and walk

27、 together as sisters and brothers. i have a dream today.i have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight, and the glory of the lord shall be revealed, and all flesh

28、shall see it together.this is our hope. this is the faith with which i return to the south. with this faith we will be able to hew out of the mountain of despair a stone of hope. with this faith we will be able to transform the jangling discords of our nation into a beautiful symphony ofbrotherhood.

29、 with this faith we will be able to work together, topray together, to struggle together, to go to jail together, to stand up for freedom together, knowing that we will be free one day.this will be the day when all of gods children will be able to singwith a new meaning, my country, tis of thee, swe

30、et land of liberty, of thee i sing. land where my fathers died, land of the pilgrims pride, from every mountainside, let freedom ring.freedom ring from the mighty mountains of new york. let freedom ring from the heightening alleghenies of pennsylvania!let freedom ring from the snowcapped rockies of

31、colorado!let freedom ring from the curvaceous peaks of california!but not only that; let freedom ring from stone mountain of georgia! let freedom ring from lookout mountain of tennessee!let freedom ring from every hill and every molehill of mississippi. from every mountainside, let freedom ring.when

32、 we let freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able tospeed up that day when all of gods children, black men and white men, jews and gentiles, protestants and catholics, will be able to joinhands and sing in the words of the

33、 old negro spiritual, free at last! free at last! thank god almighty, we are free at last!,youth idealfuturegood evening, everyone. my name is wanghaili. i am an outgoing girl who likes reading and traveling. its really my great honor to stand here and give everyone a short speech.when we refer to i

34、deal, we will realize the importance of ideal. ideal is the beacon,. without ideal, we will lose the firm direction. without direction, we will lose our life. according to this, every one of us should establish our own ideal .so that we have the direction of straggle to the future. tolstoy tells us,

35、 we should have the life objective from the whole life to the second. so we should cherish every moment and form our systematic objective. youth is the prime time. we have strong body and energy and can sense the meaning of life under the guide of ideal.let us use our youth to pursue our ideal and m

36、ake our future wonderful. so we will have gorgeous life.good evening, dear audience i am happy that i can have such kind of opportunity to stand here to give you a speech. what i am going to talk about today is my dream to shine.we all want to believe that we are capable of great feats , we can call

37、 the potential to reach our fullest dream.no young man believes he will ever fade, it was a saying of my old friend , and a fine one . we look round in this world, full of life, and motion, and ceaseless progress, as in setting out on delightful journey, we strain our eager gaze forward . there is a

38、 feeling of eternity in youth, just right which makes us amend for everything.about my dream, it can be traced back to my childhood, i just want play more ,when i grew older, i was convinced that i would be a physicist or a psychologist. after ,its a pity for me that i could not do anything to appro

39、ach it . although they have ceased to exist and dispeared ,they lead my growth along the way. dreams nourish our spirit ,they represent possibility even then we are dragged down by reality . dream is the beacon. , without dream, there is no secure direction; without direction, there is no life. so i

40、 believe the important thing in life is to have a great dream, and the determination to attain it. without own dream, wecould never have grown up a real man .and in fact, not only for personal, but also for world.now, i have a dream that one day our nation would rise up and live out the true meaning

41、 of its pledge of territorial integrity and peoples rich and powerful, such as our diaoyu island.and as for personal dream, my ideal future career is to be a urban and regional planner who could function as a chief planner and designer of a city.at first, it was my natural teacher of senior high sch

42、ool who brought me great interest in architectures and cities when i was far away from urban planning . and then i met many cities in and out of books by myself .different places and different cultures just made me more interested in cities.agricultural land in the face of increasing demands for new homes and business.i grew up in ages and also in thoughts. it was that time i began to know that life is a difficult journey. and it was that time i began to think about my life. i asked myself what a life i want to live, and what a man i want to be. but it was ha
