1、1Application of a new type of recycled materials on art design(Taiyuan University of Technology,Taiyuan, Shanxi, 030024) Abstract. This paper first analyzes the content model of recycled materials, and meanings and using principles of new recycled materials. After that, the paper discusses the appli

From the perspective of art design, this paper explores the application of new kinds of recycled materials in art design. On the one hand it is to meet the publics pursu

Key words: new recycled materials; design; application The so-called art design is to design art in the form of beauty in daily life. Art d
4、esign not only has the aesthetic function, but also has a practical function. In other words, art design first serves the public (from the space environment 2to basic necessities of life). And then it is a perfect combination of substance function and mental function in the human society developing
5、process, and the inevitable product of social development in the process of modernization. Art design needs to have some bearing bodies, such as space, and also needs to have a certain material, such as paint, wallpaper, wood, cement and etc. to achieve the intention of the designers. And as everyon
6、e knows, with the rapid development of the national economy and the improvement of peoples living standard, people pursue more and more sensual beauty. From the daily life to the national construction, everywhere embodies the beauty of art, so more and more raw materials of art design are required.
7、In the past, extensive use of non-renewable materials in art design caused great waste and pollution. For instance, extensive use of concrete in a lot of building designs, on the one hand, achieved a variety of novel art form, but at the same time produced all kinds of construction waste, which not
8、only does harm to the city environment, but also requires a great deal of valuable land to handle and stack these construction wastes. Therefore, recycled materials are needed to replace the traditional non-renewable materials to save resources and to achieve sustainable social development. 31. The
9、brief introduction to new renewable materials Specifically, recycled materials differ from renewable resources, which refer to that part of the resources of recyclable materials which can be processed into raw resources which does not include energy, water and a broader sense of resources, and mater
10、ials by incineration, composting and other resources do not belong to the recycled materials. In all kinds of waste, recycling range is very wide, renewable materials which can be developed basically has the following seven types: the scrap metal, waste paper, waste plastics, waste rubber, waste mat
11、erials and electronic waste (including waste household appliances, scrap computers, mobile phones and other electronic products, scrap cars etc.). Recycled materials include not only well-known natural renewable materials, but also biodegradable materials and artificial life, industrial recycling ma

Model of recycled materials in the present stage mainly refers to the environmental degradation materials in some industrial synthesis, and different materials artificially made of different substan

At pre

This material is a kind of renewable composite material made from wood fiber and clean plastic polymer. This new
15、material can be widely used in various furniture products for environmental design which can be arbitrary stained like plastics, and can be injection molded according to the different uses. For example, indoor sculpture and creative decoration can use such materials. This paper, from the perspective
16、 of art design, explores the application of new kinds of recycled materials in art design. On the one hand it is to meet the publics pursuit of beauty and exploration and to improve the quality of life and on the other hand, it effectively saves energy and reduces the pollution of the environment. 2
17、. Significance and principles of new regenerated material Model of recycled materials emerges with the constant improvement of the level of science and technology, especially the rapid development of relevant disciplines of chemistry and 5physics. Various polymer and nano composites have been produc

From the essence of the art of design, application of a new type of recycled materials on art design mainly refers to art and design from the various attributes and the views of environmental protection, to implement recycling materials in th
19、e field of artistic design. Cyclic model of recycled materials in art design is more than in line with the research direction of the ecological circular economy. It provides a new perspective for the art design from the angle of materials. At the same time, the emergence of new renewable materials a
20、lso responds to the rise and development of modern ecological concepts, the concept of environmental protection and the philosophy of art. When we conduct art designs using the new recycled materials, we should follow the following principles: (1) Reduce the use of natural renewable materials as far
21、 as possible, especially natural material earth reserves less; (2) Design scientifically and rationally with no excessive use and good management to reduce the construction loss; (3) In manual processing and machining process, reduce carbon emissions as far as possible so as not to cause the second
22、pollution; (4) Pay attention to the collection and treatment of waste 6materials to avoid waste; get familiar with material properties to prolong its service life as much as possible. 3. Analysis of the application of new materials on the art design of regeneration Model of recycled materials mainly
23、 refers to the artificial synthetic materials, which is divided into two categories: One is the imitation of biological materials in the biodegradable phosphate refractory ceramic materials; another kind is the largest and most versatile production technology of biodegradable plastics. In art design
24、 it mainly includes: ceramic materials, resin materials, biodegradable plastic materials and etc. In addition, in art design related buildings, artificial stone also has a very wide range of uses. Usually, the synthetic environmental degradation material has certain timelines. With the passage of ti

Especially in the rapid process of the city and when the system has not been formed, it has good environmental protection performance. 3-1. Application of new ceramics in art design New ceramic ma
26、terials have its unique superiority in performance. In the thermal and mechanical properties, they are 7of high temperature, heat insulation, high hardness, wear resistance etc.; in the aspect of electrical properties they have insulation, piezoelectricity, semiconductor, magnetic, catalytic, corros
27、ion, adsorption and other functions in chemistry; in biology, they have certain biological compatibility, and can be used as biological structural materials. Precisely because of these advantages of the new ceramic materials, in many art designs, designers begin to implement their designs with ceram

At the same time, because the new ceramic materials are further sublimation of traditional ceramic materials, as a new carrier of culture, in t
29、heir integration into the design of city construction in the future, they can effectively release the cultural energy, engrave city history and city traditional records, and reflect the material, spiritual and cultural characteristics of a city from a side. With the help of the design techniques of
30、artists and modern building technology, the new ceramics are introduced to the city public space and art design, which will have a broad prospect of forming their own special city appearance and unique city culture personality. 83-2. Application of new artificial stone materials on art design Artifi

It is worthy of the name of the green building materials which has become modern decorative building materials preferred. Because of the special advant

As a kind of decorative 9materials with good texture and more colors, they not only be
35、autify the interior and exterior decoration to meet the needs of the diverse design, they are also better for architects and designers to provide extremely wide design space, to create space and natural feelings. In the design using artificial stone materials, it is general to use the white stone as
36、 the background, with the center inlaying every color of the rainbow, which can produce a kind of creative and wonderful feelings. Artificial stone can be cut into the circle, semicircle and sector according to the shape of the splicing. The straight lines in line with the soft curves will endow chi

Process and artificial stone lying are simple; at the back of the man-made composite stone there are wave treatments, so as to make the laying quality of walls or floors more reliable. 3-3. Application of a new type of plastic materials on art design Biodegradable p
38、lastics refer to plastics to which are added some additives in the production process (Such as starch, modified starch or other cellulose, photo sensitizer, biological degradation agent), whose stability decreases, and are more easily degraded in the natural environment. Degradable plastics are gene
39、rally divided into four categories: light 10degradable plastics, biodegradable plastics, light / biodegradable plastics and water degradable plastics. Plastics have a wide use in the art design. But because of the slow degradation of traditional plastics, many of the plastics used in art design cann
40、ot be degraded, thus causing much pollution. The biodegradable plastics used in art design for the relief of pollution caused by the traditional plastics have the vital signs. For example, in 2009, “Art to the plastic“ (Art Goes Plastic) exhibition held in the port of Friedrich, Germany, centralized

The famous German Dueel Jef College of art is also involved. Specific to the daily life, more and more handbags should all use degradable plas

Reflections on the use of new renewable materials Renewable natural materials are one of the materials public art of modern city uses most. But at the present stage, there is still a lot to be worthy of our thinking about the use of new renewable materials: (1) The contradiction of city
