This paper mainly explores another kind of digital inkjet printing technology which satisfies the features of garment printing, and the new technologys influence on the printing design as well. In addition, this paper analyzes

In the studying process, the author finds out that unlike the traditional printing design, the new digital inkjet printing technology breaks through t

3、he limitations of the traditional printing methods, combines modern aesthetic standard, printing design methods with the new technology and analyzes the innovation of the new printing machine on designing garment printing patterns by exploring design theory and evaluating technical effect. The application of

5、digital inkjet printing technology in the garment printing industry will be the developing direction of this industry. Besides, in the process of development, the technology will receive much attention from the professional experts in the fields of garment, pattern design and dyeing. The paper makes

6、 an analysis on the printing technology of the digital inkjet printing machine, the features of printing techniques, and makes an exploration into the innovation of the new printing technique on the garment pattern design to provide some useful references for the promotion of the digital inkjet prin

7、ting technology. 1. Analysis on digital inkjet printing technique Today, the digital inkjet printing technology can input the printing design into computer by means of digital pictures or direct scanning and so on. Besides, the technology can process pattern match in the related softwares, and then

8、it process color matching, blending and changing. In addition, in accordance with the irregular cycle model, the technology sets the corresponding jumping factorial numerical values so as to produce the wanted pattern template2. Through checking the effect of the template, print the designed printin

9、g patterns 3on the carrier or on the cloth directly to achieve a high-quality printing operation, shorten the producing time, launch the products into the market in an early time and take the initiative. At the same time, it can reduce the waste of the dye stuff in the process.However, in the printi

10、ng process, due to the problems of seams, folds, provincial roads and other special structures in the garments, we cannot reach the smoothness corresponding with the carrier and cloth, which may result in the problems of twist, folds or poor control and so on. During the printing process, clothes ea

11、sily touch the nozzle of the printing machine when they are put in an unsmooth place in the delivery, which will affect or even destroy printing. Due to the variety of garments, the digital inkjet printing machine cannot satisfy the structural features of the cloth on the same level. Therefore, the

12、digital inkjet printing technology adopted internationally is in the using period of printing carriers, cloth. Thus, continuous research analysis on the printing equipment and related technology is needed to help boost the rapid development of the printing industry. 2. Features of inkjet printing ma

13、chine (Model JN-DIP-1600) and printing techniques 2.1 Structure 4Model JN-DIP-1600 is a new digital inkjet printing machine, with a movable head and varied usages. It is a packaged flat printing machine. The broadest printing width of this new printing machine is 2000mm1600mm. The machine uses Germa

14、ny Siemens screen as the touch-screen, the printing part which is originally imported as the mechanism and the packaged flat plate. 2.2 Technical features The model of this digital inkjet printing machine can both print machine-weaving cotton, chemical fiber, silk fabric and knitted hemp, silk, cott

15、on, cashmere and other fabrics. The machine using ink adopts active dye ink, pigment ink, acid dye ink, disperse dye ink and so on. Compared to the previously used printing machine, the technical improvements are mainly reflected in the following three aspects. 2.2.1 Movable head In recent years, th

16、e digital inkjet printing machine used in the process of industrial production are mostly delivered through the conduction band. During the delivery, the garments will encounter many problems, such as the tension that is hard to set, folds, twists, difficulty in controlling and so on, which hinder t

17、he printing operation. This model of digital 5printing machine selects the movable head with the height of 55cm, the adjustable height ranging from 1 to 50cm. During the printing process, the garments are in the still and tiled state, and the head is responsible for completing the printing by operat

This improved method helps to break the bottleneck of related printing technology of the traditional printing machine in terms of delivery medium, and provide the possibility to realize the industrialization of garment printing. The nozzle selects two sets of independent ink-supplyin

19、g system. The ink droplet can control low-voltage. The inkjet printing machine has a total of six nozzles, which can be applied in the printing operation. 2.2.2 Packaged type and flat mesa Unlike carriers, cloth, the garments structure are not flat. The seams in the collar, cuff of the sleeves or th

20、e armhole result in the partial thickness, which affects the overall smoothness of the printing. If the previous fixed flat mesa printing machine is adopted, the distance between the head and the medium will be different; the ink droplet will be of different sizes and of different shapes because of

The printing range not only satisfies the large-sized carriers and the printing of the clothes, but also

24、provides printing for several garments at the same time, which elevates the production efficiency to a large degree. In terms of resolution, the model of JN-DIP-1600 printing machine can reach 1440dpi1440dpi, which reaches the international advanced level and makes sure that most printing patterns c

25、an meet the output effect desired by the pattern designers3. 2.3 The Basic process of the digital inkjet printing technique 7According to the different characters, the preparations made by the digital inkjet printing techniques are divided into equipment preparation and technical preparation. To be

The needed equipment is the model of JN-DIP-1600 digital inkjet printing machine,EPSON G6TDC colored image scanner, Jing Hong DZF-6050 vacuum drying oven; Technical preparation. This includes the image processing tool Photoshop 7.0 (Chinese version) and the typesetti

27、ng output tool Meng Tai colored electronic publishing system of WASATCHSoftRIP Version 5.1. According to the different printing carriers, we can divide them into garment printing and carrier printing. There are no differences in the technical procedure based on the features and the characters of thi

28、s technique. The procedures of the printing technique are image processing input, inkjet printing, post-drying process. The details are as follows: Image processing input. Select an appropriate picture. Use Photoshop (Chinese version) or other image processing tools to beautify and modify the pictur

29、e to meet the printing requirements, and then input into the printing system; Inkjet printing. First, adjust the printing machine to test whether it is in the normal state. 8Then, keep the mesa balanced and clean. After that, adjust the nozzle to the place 5mm away from the carrier to help improve p

30、rinting quality and the safe use of the nozzle. Start the typesetting output tool Meng Tai colored electronic publishing system of WASATCHSoftRIP Version 5.1 to control the head of the printing machine, scan the images and confirm the position. Last, use the model JN-DIP-1600 digital inkjet printing

31、 machine to begin printing; Post-drying process. After completing printing, put the carrier in the vacuum drying oven for post-drying process. The time is determined by the quantity of the products. The advantages of the technique lie in that the time needed is short, the operation is simple, the ef

32、ficiency is high, and the cost is low. As can be seen from the picture below, the color of the pattern is very bright and vivid. There is no mutual interference or the cross of colors in the interweaving position of several colors. The flower has the clearly outlined shape, obviously divided edge, a

33、pparently arranged layers and good visual effects. The printing effect is excellent. 3. The advantages and disadvantages of the digital inkjet printing technique The digital inkjet printing technique is a newly emerging printing technique in recent years. Before it began to 9prosper, there were also

34、 many traditional printing techniques, such as hotting mask transfer printing, silk-screen printing and so on. The former one propers not long ago, whose main carrier is T-shirt. The first thing to do is to select the pattern. After processing the pattern, print it on the transfer paper. By adopting

35、 the special equipment to carry out the high temperature and high pressure processing, the picture is thus printed on the T-shirt. Silk-screen printing is the most widely applied technology in modern printing technique, whose process includes designing patterns, printing out slice, plate copying pro

36、cessing, printing, drying the carrier and so on. The process is complicated. The emergence and development of the digital inkjet printing technique provides a rich selection for printing. Its unique advantages also provide technical support for the design of the printing pattern4. Compared with the

37、traditional printing technique, it has the following features: 3.1 A wide range of picture selection With the continuous development of scientific technology, the universalization of the Internet and digital products greatly changes peoples life. After taking or processing 10different kinds of pictu

38、res, many people wish to make them meaningful items. The pictures are in a large number, rich types and varied themes, such as photos, landscapes, Chinese ink painting, watercolor and so on. Moreover, due to personal skills and the quality influence of digital products, the pixel and definition of a

39、ll kinds of pictures vary from one another, which puts a high requirement on the printing technique. The traditional silk-screen printing has a strict requirement on the number of silk-screen and the silk-screen web. The usually acceptable colors are not more than 10 kinds, which sets a great limita

40、tion on the picture selection. However, the number of the acceptable colors of the digital inkjet printing is 1000 to 2000. In addition, on the high-definition and changing patterns, the printing effect is outstanding. This feature breaks the boundaries between theory and practice for the design of

41、garment patterns3. 3.2 Diverse manifestation techniques The digital inkjet printing technique can fully manifest the various techniques used in painting, such as wet painting, which is a manifestation technique of watercolor.
