In the age of network education, the network life of students in colleges and universities of nationalities is faced with obstacle of many aspects now. Therefore, it is necessary for colleges and universities of nationalities to create

Colleges and universities of nationalities are located in t

6、he special areas of Chinas higher education, and the improvement of their educational quality has been constrained by conditions of all aspects. In the age of network education, the network life of students in colleges and universities of nationalities is faced with obstacle of many aspects now. The

7、refore, it is necessary for colleges and universities of nationalities to create a more superior network living environment for students and effectively guide the network lifestyle of students according to existing educational conditions, for the purpose of promoting students to rationally make use

8、of network resources, set up a healthy concept of network and also getting rid of the negative effects caused by some network lifestyles on students of colleges and universities. 1.Characteristics of Students in Colleges and Universities 3of Nationalities Because of the remote geographical positions

9、 and special educational goals/properties of the colleges and universities in minority nationality regions, the network life of the students in these schools is with strong particularity compared with regular institutions of higher learning and even the inland colleges and universities of nationalit

10、ies, as shown in figure 1. According to relevant data, by the end of 2011, the number of minority students in the national colleges and universities of all levels had rapidly increased and reached 18.5249 million totally, accounting for 7.6% of the total college and university students all over the

11、country. Now, there have been nearly 150 colleges and universities of nationalities all over the country; the number of students currently studying in these schools is about 560,000; 55 ethnic minority groups of China have owned their college and university students; various forms of vocational and

12、technical education have attained a very rapid development in minority nationality areas. Students in the colleges and universities of nationalities, as an important part of Chinese young college students, have been increasingly focused by the state and society. However, compared with inland high ed

13、ucated degree, 4the higher education in minority areas is still in a low level, and also the network lifestyle of students is relatively simple. 14、es of Nationalities The final goal of the state to emphatically invest the construction of colleges and universities in the new period is to train increasingly more types of professional personnel, meet the demands of society on human resources, and also promote the harmonious development of the who

15、le social economy. Higher education in the age of information proposes new requirements on the ability of college and university students in the application of computer knowledge, and it is more necessary for these students to master some skills in the application of the Internet. Considering the li

16、mitations of the network life of students in the colleges and universities of nationalities, it is necessary to continually broaden the network life scope of these students in the future, and this is of vital significance for the individual development of students. 3.Factors Limiting the Network Lif

17、e of College and 5University Students According to the results of campus investigation, the main factors affecting the network life of students in the colleges and universities of nationalities can be concluded from the following two aspects. 3.1 Equipments Network is a virtualization platform, and

18、can provide college and university students with services of multiple aspects such as learning, social intercourse, shopping and consulting. However, the realization of the application functions of the Internet has to rely on all kinds of software and hardware equipments, which are the basic conditi

19、ons for playing the role of virtual network. 3.2 Knowledge A great number of students in the colleges and universities of nationalities, because of the restrictions of previous educational background, do not know well the necessary basic computer operation techniques. Thus, they cant fully enjoy the

20、 rich and colorful network life through effectively using the Internet at the beginning of college and university admissions. As a typical representative of information technology, computer network application proposes relevant 6requirements on the professional knowledge of students. However, becaus

21、e of the limitations of human resources and curriculum arrangement, necessary guidance in the development of network lifestyle is not widely given by Beifang University of Nationalities to freshmen, and also the necessary knowledge on how to study and live through fully using network is not enhanced

22、, thus affecting the progress of some students to expand beneficial network life. 4. Strategies Influencing the Network Lifestyle of Students in Colleges and Universities of Nationalities According to the results of campus investigation, the network life of students in the colleges and universities

23、of nationalities has developed toward diversification, and also has made full use of the advantages of network platform, so as to better serve for daily learning and working. The author thinks that the network lifestyle of students in the colleges and universities of nationalities can be segmented f

24、rom four aspects (i.e. learning, network social intercourse, entertainment, and trade). 4.1 Network Learning Sharing is the biggest characteristic of computer network. Now, networking operation has been realized in most colleges 7and universities of China, and there are a large number of teaching re

25、sources for students to choose as shown in figure, thus providing convenience for the network learning of students in the colleges and universities of nationalities. It is necessary for instructors to guide students to reasonably make use of network resources, make full preparations for the learning

26、 of professional knowledge, and make great efforts to improving personal professional knowledge. For example, according to professional knowledge courses, students can be allowed to take part in remote education, collect contents related to professional course education in the network based on the c

27、ontents of teaching materials, so as to learn professional knowledge in advance. Also, it is necessary for teachers to establish a virtualization education space by using network platform, so as to promote the learning communication between teachers and students. In the meantime, it is necessary for

28、 teachers to effectively utilize the currently popular information acquisition platforms. For example, course micro-blog can be established for promoting students to easily share, communicate and acquire course information anytime and anywhere. 29、tercourse Students in colleges and universities are not only young groups in the modern times, but also the main forces for promoting the development of Chinas socialist reform; the personal comprehensive quality of these students has a very close tie with the progress of the future society. The int

30、ernet not only provides a learning platform for the students in the colleges and universities of nationalities, but also sets up a healthy and orderly environment for them to make friends. Training students in colleges and universities to make positive network communication in the network life is he

31、lpful for their communication ability, language ability, and thinking ability, etc. In-campus websites, BBS, QQ groups and other platforms have been established in most colleges and universities of China, providing convenience for the communication among students. According to the data from the ques

32、tionnaires distributed to freshmen and sophomore of Beifang University of Nationalities, the proportion of college students having above five net friends has been as high as 67%. Therefore, it is necessary for teachers to insert some effective cases in the teaching process, and subtly train the onli

33、ne self-discipline of students as well as the ability to 9identify the information of net friends. Thus, students can know how to protect themselves in the network communication, and then can build up a healthy network communication way. 4.3 Network Entertainment Campus life in colleges and universi

34、ties should not only include learning, but also provide enough entertainment space for the training of personal interests and hobbies. This can also be realized through the Internet platform. Network entertainment can provide students in colleges and universities with multiple entertainment items su

35、ch as games, movies, novels, and game events, thus allowing students to appropriately relax themselves in spare time. In the future, more capitals will be invested by the state in the colleges and universities of nationalities, more advanced network facilities will be popularized, and thus increasin

36、gly more entertainment opportunities can be available for students in colleges and universities. However, some students are excessively addicted in network entertainment. The author thinks that this part of students can be correctly guided through a series of diversified activities such as thematic

37、class-meetings and reading contests, and also the access to online game websites and film websites can be limited in 10viewing time and controlled in traffic through school network management departments, thus promoting students to healthily surf the Internet from multiple aspects. 4.4 Network Trade

38、 Electronic commerce is the mainstream of modern economic development. Many economic trading activities are conducted in the network. Students in the colleges and universities of nationalities have reasonably used network platforms to participate in trading activities and enjoy the great convenience

39、 brought by online trade. Questionnaire data shows that in business applications, the proportion of students in Beifang University of Nationalities to buy things online has reached 33.1%, and the proportions of students using online payment and online banking have reached 30.1% and 28.9% respectivel

40、y. Therefore, it is suggested to offer relevant public elective courses, strengthen students online shopping and relevant problem processing skills from the theoretical level, and also attract those students who are always in a wait-and-see state because they do know well relevant knowledge and operation flow, thus promoting them to skillfully use network business platforms, make goods exchange and sales operations, and allow daily life to be highly effective and
