Section A 1a1c 教学设计进贤县罗溪中学 杨洪国一、教材分析 Analysis of Teaching Material1、教学内容:本节讲授内容为八年级第六单元第一课时。本单元围绕做“比较级” 这个句型开展多种教学活动,本节课是本单元的重点,主要通过学习形容词的比较等级,对人的外貌和性格特征进行对比,进一步加深对比较等级的语法现象的理解和运用。同时通过对话对比较等级进行操练,进一步提高学生听、说、读、写综合素质能力。本课为 Unit 6 的第一课,本单元主要学习如何运用描述人的外表及性格
2、的形容词,引出本单元的语法项目:形容词的比较级; 含比较级的句型。2、教材地位和作用:以描述人的外貌和性格特征的形容词为主线,兼顾交际功能的学习,以一种循序渐进的生活化的学习程序,引导学生学会用英语对自己或他人的外表和性格特征进行对比,注重语言知识的呈现,为以后作可持续交际奠定基础。二、教学目标 Teaching Goals1. 知识目标:( )学习、掌握 tall, short, smart, long, wild, quiet, funny, heavy, outgoing 的比较级;初步掌握规则单音节词及少数双音节词、多音节词比较级的构成形式。()能熟练运用 Is that ?- No,

4、Aids 录音机 多媒体辅助教学(CAI)四、学情分析 Analysis of the Students1. 本单元话题内容贴近学生生活实际,同学们感兴趣,有话可说,有话愿说。在新目标英语七年级(下)第七单元 What does he look like?中曾学习过一些描述人物外貌特征的词语,如:short,tall,curly, straight hair, medium build, thin, heavy, blonde 等,在学习本单元有关人物性格特征的单词时,可以温故而知新。学习语法知识点“形容词的比较级” 以及人物比较的表达时,应紧密联系学生实际,就地取材,拿身边的人或物进行对比,
5、由词汇变化到句子,再由句子扩展到语篇,使每位学生都能使用正确的语言结构描述人物特点和进行人物比较,能自由谈论自己的好朋友,以及他们之间的异同。2. 利用多媒体课件上英语课,学生视听感受明显,表现出极大兴趣,在欣赏和享受中学习,学习效果很明显。3. 学生以前已经学过形容词的比较级和最高级,但掌握的强度不够,对单音节和多音节形容词的比较级和最高级的表达上总是出现错误。通过对本课的学习可以巩固所学知识,掌握用正确的语言结构表达人物特点和人物比较。五、教学重点与难点 Teaching Importance and Difficulty教学重点是学生能够对人物外貌进行描述,个性进行比较。教学难点是形容词

Paul is thinner than Pedro.八、教学反思 Teaching Reflection本节课同学们通过大量的口语练习达到了能较熟练的谈论人物之间异同的效果,采用“任务型”教学模式,任务有三:任务一是通过图片展示和小组活动复习描述人物外貌和性格特征的形容词;任务二是谈论自己和好友的外貌和性格特征;任务三是通过小组合作的形式使用形容词
23、的比较级来描述人物。任务要层层递进,由易到难,构建由初级任务到高级任务并由高级任务涵盖初级任务的循环,使教学阶梯式地层层递进,符合习得规律。以任务为中心的任务型语言教学是目前交际教学思想中的一种新的发展形态,它倡导“在做中学,在做中用”的教育理念,将语言应用的基本理念转化为具有实践意义的课堂教学方式。运用学习任务组织教学,强化了语言实践的过程,充分体现了语言的交际本质。从课堂反映可以看出学生们学习兴趣浓厚,对形容词比较级的运用较自如,完成了教学任务。本课利用多媒体教学,使学生从视、听、说等方面得到了锻炼;通过两两活动、小组活动等大量的口语练习使学生达到了能较熟练的谈论人物之间异同的效果;学生在
24、轻松愉快的氛围中温故而知新,提高了课堂教学效率;充分调动了学生自主学习的积极性。本课以素质教育为目的,结合教材重点、难点及英语学科特点,利用多媒体辅助教学,从视、听、说等方面使学生得到锻炼,在愉快、轻松的氛围中温故而知新,达到初步运用英语交际的能力。本课时利用多媒体设备辅助教学,提高了课堂教学的效率;充分调动了学生自主学习的积极性;培养了学生运用所学知识解决问题的能力;对学生的思维发展起到了积极的推动作用;同时,也提高了学生的英语综合运用能力。一些不足之处:1.各教学环节的时间把握得不是很好。感觉课堂上时间不够用,担心没有完成既定的教学任务。2.多媒体在英语教学中只是起一个辅助作用,有时生动的
25、画面往往会分散学生的注意力,学生的好奇心被画面所吸引,学生的新鲜感容易取代他们对教学重点的把握。教师要把握“适时、适度、适当 ”的原则,发挥多媒体的最佳效果。 3.教学中大多数学生都能积极地参与课堂活动,但还有一部分学生积极性还没有调动起来。今后在英语教学中要多多关注和改变这部分英语“ 学困生”。4.在教学过程中我发现学生有时不能很好的区分单音节词、双音节词和多音节词,这就要求我在今后的教学中贯穿音标的教学。在今后的教学中我要进一步加强理论学习,深入开展任务型教学研究,合理使用教学资源,探索有效的教学方式,充分发挥学生的自主合作学习的优势。 附:1.八年级英语上 Unit 6 Section A 1a-1c PPT 课件附:2.八年级英语上 Unit 6 Im more outgoing than my sister.
