1) here, there, now, then, thus 等副词置于句首, 谓语动词常用 be, come, go, lie, run 等表示来去或状态的动词。例如: Then came the chairman. Here is your letter. Out rushed a missile from under

、 the bomber. Ahead sat an old woman. 3) 在 there be 或者 there live(stand, appear, seem, remain, exist.) There are thousands of people on the square. There lived an old fisherman in the village. There stands a little girl.4)在某些表示祝愿的句型中。 Long live the Peoples Republic

、of China! May you all be happy. Here you are. Here he comes. Away they went. 2如 no, not, never, seldom, little, hardly,

、 scarcely, at no time 决不, by no means, on no account, in no case, many a time, under no circumstances, in no way, many a time, not until 等。 Never have I seen such a performance. Nowhere will you find the answer to this question. Not until the child fell asleep did

、the mother leave the room. I have never seen such a performance. -never have I seen such a performance. The mother didnt leave the room until the child fell asleep. -not until the child fell asleep the mother did leave the ro

、om. 1) Why cant I smoke here? At no time_ in the meeting-room A. is smoking permitted B. smoking is permitted C. smoking is it permitted D. does smoking permit 答案 A. 当否定词语置于句首以表示强调时,其句中的主谓须用倒装结构。 2) Not until the early years of the 19th century _ what heat is. A. man did know B. man know C. didn

、t man know D. did man know 答案 D. 看到 Not until的句型,我们知道考点为倒装句,答案在 C,D 中选一个。 Man did not know what heat is until the early years of the 19th. Not onlybut also, Hardly/Scarcelywhen, No sooner than 等,前倒后不倒。 Not only did he refuse the gift, he als

、o severely criticized the sender. Hardly had she gone out when a student came to visit her. No sooner had she gone out than a student came to visit her. 3No sooner_ than it began to rain heavily. A. the game began B. has the game begun C. did the

、game begin D. had the game begun Not only you but also I am fond of music。

、 + be(have,助动词 或情 态动词)+ 主语”结构。 Tom can speak French. So can Jack. If you wont go, neither will I. 你不去,我也不去。 典型例题 -Do you know Jim quarreled with his brother? -I dont know,_. A. nor dont I care B. nor do I care C. I dont care neither D. I dont care also

Tom asked me to go to play football and so I did. -Its raining hard. -So it is. Only in this way, can you learn English well.

(only+介词短语)Only after being asked three times did he come to the meeting. Only yesterday did he find out that his watch was missing.(only+副词)Only when it began to rain did he finish his job.(only+状语从句)如果句子为主从复合句, 则主句倒装,从句不倒装。 4Only when he is seriously ill does he ever stay in

、 bed. Shortest as/though she is, she is not the richest.(倒装后,最高级前不用冠词) Child as he is, he knows a lot.(倒装后, 单数名词前不用 a) Fail as I di

) Hard as he tried, he didnt pass the exam.(副词提到句首)Try hard as he will, he never seems able to do the work satisfactorily. 6so that, suchthat 引导的结果状语从句中,当 so 和 such 位于句首时,用”sos

、uch + adj. So frightened was he that he did not dare to move an inch. So difficult was the exam that most of the students failed to pass it. 7. 在 if 虚拟语气条件句中从句 谓语动词有 were, had, should 等词,可将 if 省略,把 were, had, should 移到主语之前,采取部分倒装。例 如: 5Should it rain t
