2、human being and their courage. Defoe had written many political comments and plays, however, the most successful is novels. And Robinson Crusoe is regarded as the most popular work. One of the most important contributions of the book to England is it has created a new style in novel. The book was pu

3、blished in England in 1946. This story really has happened in the middle of 17th century, and Defoe used the story as a background. In the story, Robinsons adventurous spirit goes through the whole story. The language narrating is popular and easy to understand, the good work being that a volume adm

4、ired by scholars and laymen alike.II. The Story of the BookThe story about Robinson Crusoe can be divided into three parts: Robinsons youth time to his sea journey; his twenty-eight years on a NO PEOPLE island; his lie and adventures after being rescued from the island. In the first part, Robinson w

5、ishes to pursue his dream by going to sea. Although his father wants him to live a peaceful life, his thoughts are still firm seeing the world, and he should never settle to anything with enough resolution to go through with it. He always is not restless and never satisfied, and finally he escapes f

6、rom his family. As a son, he can just stay at home, inheriting his fathers wealth and living a comfortable life. However, he doesnt. He tries his best to adventure, no matter what danger there will be, and he pursues his dreams without hesitating to escape from dangers.The most inspiring part of the

7、 story should be the second part. He joins an expedition to bring slaves from Africa, but he is shipwrecked in a storm about 2forty miles out to sea on an island near the mouth of the Orinoco River on September 30, 1659. His companions all die; he manages to arms, tools and other supplies from the s

8、hip before it breaks apart and sinks. He starts to build a habitation and cave, keeps a calendar by making marks in a big piece of wood, moves from an island to another ,meets Friday , and finally, he leaves the island. He also reads the Bible and suddenly becomes religious, thanking God for his fat

9、e in which nothing is missing but society.In the story, he also builds house for himself, considering all possible shortage things with his logical mind; he trains sheep for milk and meat; he grows corns to make bread; he dries the grapes; etc. He is so confident and determined that he finds ways to

10、 make a good living. Robinson did it, and in a good way.The third part of the novel talk about Robinsons gaining of wealth through the honesty and loyalty of friends, his return to England, travels through the continent and a last trip to his island to see those people he left there. Even sometimes

11、there seems everything painful, however, when there is a will, there is a way, never lose confidence, and there is a bright future. So he possesses a large fortuneIII. My Views on the BookRobinson was a great person, he conquered countless and unimaginable hardships, Ones life experiences many hards

12、hips, perhaps we face these difficult, however, and how to solve? Perhaps, your mom and dad will help you to bear, but if you are a impoverished mountainous area child, if you were an exile of people dont pay tuition, do not have enough to eat and wear not warm, even without parents, relatives, frie

13、nds, how to face? All of all, have made you unprepared, make you the grief-stricken, make you excited, and make you disappointed. Perhaps you will suffer, worry, hesitation, but we cant despair, we must learn to self-reliance, and flames lit from disappointment, as long as strong, new efforts will b

14、e able to overcome the difficulties. Like Robinson Crusoe on the island, one of his people with strong perseverance tenacious life, and bad environment, fight fierce beast, and by working hard opened up a new life. Man is not life, life is lucky not all perfect, not wont make mistakes, but god for we are as fair, but were going to find, to struggle to create.
