8、e at 2:28 p.m. May 12, 2008. The quake, centered on Wenchuan County, affected many parts of the country. Many houses collapsed and roads damaged, telecommunications disrupted, many schools and hospitals have become ruins. The death toll had topped 62，664, with almost 23，775 missing and more than 281

After the quake, our party and government took action and organized the army, police and the whole nation to rescue the possible survivors.Our party and government showed great concern to the local people.
