5、g the beach.The Dragon Boat festival is a common name for the Tuen Ng Festival-which is a traditional Chinese celebration held on the fifth day of the fifth month of the Chinese calendar.It is a public holiday in Hong Kong and commemorates (纪念) the death of a popular Chinese national hero, Qu Yuan,

6、who drowned himself over 2,000 years ago to protest against a corrupt government.Legend says that people attempted to rescue him by beating drums to scare fish away and threw dumplings into the sea to keep the fish from eating his body.During the festival period, people eat rice-and-meat dumplings w

7、rapped in bamboo leaves to symbolize trying to save him.The highlight of the festival is the fierce dragon boat race.Wooden boats decorated with banners and a dragon head at the front, are rowed by dozens of paddlers.Sitting two abreast (并排地), with a steersman (舵手) at the back and a drummer at the f

12、those take you to the applications that you will use most frequently.A: OK, great.B: So the left most one has a sort of picture of calendar that takes you to your calendar.A: I see.B: OK. And then the one with a picture of a phone takes you to your telephone list.A: OK, great.B: Your address list. A

13、nd then there is one with That looks like little check boxes? That takes you to your To-Do-List.A: OK, I see.B: And then right most button is where you take notes.A: Oh, great. Well, that really gets me started that Ill be Have to start putting my phone numbers and to-do-list in here and get it fill

So you want to make sure that you make your list, as far as what cooking you want to do, and other things you need and things like that. And then, try to organ

31、ize the list in terms of parts of the store, so that you can, you know, do your shopping more efficiently, as you move around the store, you know, so you dont have to go back and forth across the store.A: The less walking the better.B: Exactly, exactly, and that way its quicker and everything like t

32、hat, so. Thatll be good. Um, you want to make sure that you do some comparison when youre pricing. Compare prices and make sure that youre getting the best product for the value, so look at, you know, how much youre getting, and the quality and the price, and uh, you know the products that are simil

33、ar are all there right next to each other, so its easy for you to compare and make sure youre getting the best value for your money, And, um, I would get the cheapest brands usually, because usually A: Dont they taste worse or anything?B: No, not usually. They taste about the same, and uh, youre rea

So we ended up having to land in Fort Lauderdale, which is a long ways from Miami, and my plane was supposed to my connection is supposed to be i

So we ended up having to spend the night in Fort Lauderdale, and my sister in law is praying and crying on the plane, I am holding Jeffs hand so tightly, that I think we are going to die, and he says, “dont worry, be calm, look at how calm the pilot is, he is so calm. “We land the plane, I

46、go up to the pilot and I say, were we OK, was everything safe? And he said, “I have never been so scared in my entire life.” OK.
