3、rder to improve the function of the futures market, better serve the economy and enhance the management over futures delivery, Shanghai Futures Exchange (hereinafter referred to as “SHFE”) has amended the “Shanghai Futures Exchange Wire Rod Futures Contract“ and “ Delivery Rules of Shanghai Futures
4、Exchange“, which specifically cover the quality standards of wire rod delivery products. The above-mentioned amendments have been approved by the SHFE Board of Directors and reported to the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC). They are hereby promulgated and shall become effective from Aug
5、ust 31, 2018.To ensure the steady transition of contracts, it is stipulated that from August 31, 2018 onward, standard warehouse warrants are allowed to be made for the delivery of wire rods produced according to GB/T 1499.1-2017; at the same time, wire rods produced in accordance with GB 1499.1-200
6、8 shall not be put into storage and made into a standard warehouse warrant. Delivery UnitThe trading unit of Wire rod contract is 10 ton/lot, delivery unit is 300 ton/warrant, and the delivery shall be made in an integral multiple of each warrant.II.
13、 Quality Standards(1) The quality of the wire rod for physical delivery shall meet the relevant specifications of GB/T 1499.1-20172008, “Steels for reinforced concrete, part 1: hot-rolled plain bars” for grade HPB300235.(2) The dimensions, shape, weight in addition, the production date of the wire r
14、ods for each warrant shall not exceed ten two consecutive days, with the earliest date as the production date for the warrant.(4) The wire rods for each standard warrant must be of a registered brand approved by SHFE with the corresponding quality certificate.(5) Wire rod delivery shall be measured
15、by means of actual weighing. The physical goods shortage or surplus for each warrant shall be 3%, with scale difference not exceeding 0.3%.(6) Warrants shall be issued after being inspected and accepted by SHFE-designated delivery warehouses in accordance with regulations.III. Producers and Register
16、ed Brands Recognized by SHFEThe wire rods for physical delivery must be of a brand registered with SHFE. The specific registered brands and levels of premium & discount shall be separately prescribed and announced by SHFE.- 6 -IV. Designated Delivery WarehousesThe designated delivery warehouses shal
17、l be designated and separately announced by SHFE. The level of premium & discount for off-site delivery warehouses shall be stipulated and announced by SHFE.- 7 -Delivery Rules of the Shanghai Futures Exchange(Amendment)Article 74 Quality specifications The deliverable commodity shall be the goods w
18、hose producers and trademarks are registered with the Exchange. Rules provided in the National Standard GB/T 1499.1-20172008Steel for Steel Reinforced Concrete Part I: Hot-rolled Plain and Round Steel Bar shall apply to the shape, size, weight and weight difference of the deliverable commodity. The
19、expiry of each delivery set shall be 90days after the date of production. The standard warrant shall not be issued unless the commodity is delivered to a certified delivery warehouse within 30days after the date of production. Article 75 Packaging and stocking Rules provided in the GB/T 1499.1-20172
20、008Steel for Steel Reinforced Concrete Part I: Hot-rolled Plain and Round Steel Bar shall apply to the coiled delivery, packaging, marking and the quality proof of the commodity. The underlying wire rod that each warrant represents shall be produced by the same producer and of the same trademark, gr
21、ade, shape and nominal diameter. The date of production of the wire rod to be delivered against a standard warrant shall not be more than ten)two (2) consecutive days and the earlier date shall be deemed as the date of production of the wire rod under the standard warrant. The wire rod under a standard warrant shall be stocked as one minimum delivery size.
