To the

3、 moms and dads who came to our events, who lifted their little girls and little boys on their shoulders and whispered in their ears, “See, you can be anything you want to be.“从今天开始我想要感谢所有的人感谢那些倾注了你们的热情和希望在这次竞选活动中的人们,感谢那些长途跋涉,在街上挥舞自制标语的人们,感谢那些省吃俭用,踊跃募款的人们,感谢那些到各家各户敲门,给每个人打电话,并且和你的朋友邻居们讨论甚至争论起来的人们。

更要感谢那些带着小孩子参加我们活动的父亲母亲,他们轻声地告诉肩膀上的孩子们:“看啊,有梦想就能实现!”To the young people, like 13-year-old Ann Riddle from Mayfield, Ohio, who had been saving for two years to go to Disney World, and decided to use her savings instead to travel to Pennsylvania with her mom a

To the veterans and the childhood friends, to New Yorkers and Arkansans who traveled across the country, telling anyone who would listen why you supported me.

To all those women in their 80s and their 90s, born before women could vote, who cast their votes for our campaign. Ive told you before about Florence Steen of South Dakota, who was 88 years old, and insisted that her daughter bring an absentee ballot to her hospice bedsid

But her daughter later told a reporter, “My dads an ornery old cowboy, and he didnt like it when he heard moms vote wouldnt be

But he voted in place of my mom.“感谢那些在女性可以有选举权之前出生的八、九十岁并在竞选活动中投票的女士们。
