1、外国语学院中级阅读 1教学大纲一、课程的性质与目标中级阅读 1是英语专业本科二年级学生第一学期开设的一门专业必修课。是为培养学生的英语阅读能力,为本专业其他课程和高年级专业课的学习奠定语言基础的一门课程。二、课程教学目标和任务:阅读(泛读)是英语专业学生的基础学科,它使学生在阅读中,既能比较系统的掌握基本的快速阅读技能,又能通过阅读题材及风格各异的篇章,开阔视野、扩大知识面,丰富语言知识、增强语感,积累一定的词汇量,增加一定的英美文化背景知识,加深对英语语言特点的理解,提高其阅读的速度、理解能力及综合运用语言的能力,以培养具有综合素质的英语专业人才。三、课程教学的基本要求英语阅读课列入学校的教
2、学计划,成绩记入学生的档案,按照高等学校英语专业基础阶段英语教学大纲及本学院对大学生的教学,考核的有关规定,严格考核制度。英语阅读课教学时数为36学时。在完成规定学时的基础上,对学生的学习方法进行指导,有组织的开展第二课堂活动(如英语辩论赛)。造成生动活泼的语言环境,丰富学生的业余文化生活,提高他们的学习兴趣和运用语言的能力。在英语阅读课的教学中,要根据学生的具体情况采取相应的教学方法。教英语阅读课课的教师应有高度的事业心和责任感,充分发挥自己的主动性和创造性,针对不同教学对象,充分调动学生的学习积极性和主动性,培养学生的独立工作能力。四、课程教学内容Reading Course (Book
