1、Lesson5 教学设计 一、教学内容与分析 Just talk 本课是有关小学阶段英语学习方式的语篇阅读课。本课通过 Li Yan 在 School TV 介绍自己英语学习方式的情境,引出要学习的目标语言 How did you learn English? I learned English by doing things. 通过师生之间、生生之间的对话, 自主感知、模仿、理解和体验,学生能够运用 Our English teacher taught us in many way. How did you learn English? I learned English by doing

2、things.等表示介 绍、询问等的功能语句在真实语境中进行交际。 主要目标语言: Our English teacher taught us in many ways. How did you learn English? I learned English by doing things. 二、课前准备 1. 手绘或在电脑中制作一张报纸,上面有希望之星演讲比赛获奖者的照片, 以及介绍其英语学习方法的文章。 2. 准备一些表现学生游戏活动的老照片,用于游戏“忆童年美好时光”这 个环节。 三、教学步骤与建议 1. 热身/复习(Warm-up / Revision) 1) 教师出示本届希望之星英

3、语演讲比赛本校选手获奖照片和介绍其英语学 习方法的文章,并请同学一同观看学校小荧星电视台对其进行采访的录像。教 师在录制视频的过程中尽量运用本课书出现的核心短语和句式,如:I began to learn ., be interested in, sing English songs, play guessing games, do tasks, use words and sentences, 唤醒学生对所学知识的记忆,并在旧知中适量渗透新知, 如频度副词在一般过去时句式中的渗透,以及 by oneself 和 use . to do .用法 的渗透。 录像屏幕下方打英文字幕 H: Hell

4、o, everyone. Today I have good news to share with you. Our school student Wang Wei won the first prize in the competition of HOPE STAR. Today we invite Wang Wei to our school TV. We hope that he can share something about English learning with us. Welcome you, Wang Wei. W: Thank you. Hello, everybody

5、. I am so glad to be here. H: May I ask you some questions? W: Sure. H: When did you begin to learn English? W: I began to learn English six years ago. H: What? You mean you have learned English since you were five? W: Yes. At that time my mother taught me English at home. And then I went to school.

6、 I began to learn English with my English teacher. She taught us in many ways. So we were very interested in English lessons. We often sang, danced, chanted and played games. Our teacher usually let us do things by ourselves. We did interesting tasks. Sometimes we did role play. We used words and se

7、ntences to tell stories. We often worked in pairs or in groups. In groups we always helped each other and learned from each other. We all did a good job. H: Did you enjoy English learning? W: Yes, we enjoyed it very much. 2) 观看 Wang Wei 在比赛现场的演讲录像,为语篇学习作好铺垫。 2. 新课呈现(Presentation) 1) Pr-reading:激发阅读动

8、机,激活知识储备,走进情境,扫除生词障碍 教师在带领学生观看 Wang Wei 题为 My English Learning 的演讲后,呈现 出往日学生英语学习的画面,引发学生对自己英语学习方法的回顾。 语言支持: T: We all know how Wang Wei learned English. What about us? How did we learn English? I will show you some pictures. 通过照片的展示和教师有针对性的介绍,学生感知关键动词及其过去式: singsang; dancedanced; chantchanted; teach

9、taught, 充分的语言输入为后 续的语言学习奠定基础。 为更好地让学生理解动词短语 do role play, do sth by oneself, useto do, 教师可以采用如下教学方法: (1) 出示学生出演 西游记的照片,并通过提示 Where was Monkey King? He was in a hole. We did a role play.加深学生对单词 role 音、形、义的理解。 (2) 出示在陶吧制作花瓶的照片,并展示一个声形的花瓶,介绍说 A finished it by myself.或出示其他手工艺品并加以介绍。 (3) 出示一个古代的陶器,请学生思考:

10、We used it to. 后边可接什么动词。 学生有可能会给出这样的答案:drink,教师可以回答补充完整: We used it to drink. 2) While-reading:基于问题的阅读,整体接触文本,全面把握章篇结构, 加深对动词过去式的认识 (1) 请学生带着问题,初读课文,封闭型问题的设置旨在获取基本信息。 Q1: When did Li Yan begin to learn English? Q2: Were they very interested in English lessons? Q3: Did the teacher usually let them do

11、 things by themselves? (2) 请学生带着任务阅读,阅读过程中,圈出全文出现的动词过去式。 3) 再读文本,为深刻的理解而阅读,开放型问题的设计旨在激活学生的思 维,培养学生的独立开放的思考能力和深刻感知一般过去时的语用意义。 Q1: Why were they very interested in English lessons? Q2: What do you think of Li Yans English learning? Why? 3. 趣味操练(Practice) 1) 教师可以将本课书出现的动词过去式和一些重点动词短语编成小唱谣, 让学生反复说唱。 ed

S3: He learned English by listening to English songs. 4. 语言运用(Language use) 鉴于本课中生词和不规则的动词过去式较为集中,语言运用阶段的目标应 着眼于以下三点:语言基础稍差的学生在课上能够熟读课文,语言基础中等的 同学可以为演讲短片或图片进行配音,语言基础好的同学可以模仿 Li Yan 就 My English Learning 的题目进行行演讲,演讲过程中力求做到语言流畅,肢体 语言表情达意。

15、 5. 课堂评价(Assessment) 1) 课堂教学过程中的评价 (1) 教师可以引导学生积累自己学习动词过去式的小档案。 动词过去式规则变化 动词过去式不规则变化 stay stayed do did enjoy enjoyed go went have had (2) 同学对比自己班与 Li Yan 班英语课堂活动的不同,然后选出各自最喜 欢的课堂活动推荐给小组其他成员。然后大家把排名前五位的课堂列出来,供 老师参考。 (3) 课堂表现自我评价表范例: 评价项目 我能够用英语总结自己的英语学习方式 我能够在陈述过去的事情时有意识地使用一般过去时 我能够根据相关信息积极参与各种竞猜活动,

16、为本小组争 光 我能够将本课所学习的动词过去式分类填写到学习档案上 (4) 教师简要记录学生的课堂表现以便进行教学反思。 评价项目 学生对别人介绍英语学习方式很感兴趣 不同程度的学生能够在语言运用阶段完成各自的任务 学生小组活动的积极性很高 学生能用一般过去时正确表达几年来英语课上经常采用的 活动形式 2) 教师指导学生完成活动手册中的内容,并进行评价。 6. 拓展活动(Extended activities) 1) 比较学习方式,寻找英语学习最佳途径 请同学对比自己班与 Li Yan 班英语课堂活动的不同,然后选出你最喜欢的 课堂活动推荐给小组其他成员。然后大家把排名前五位的课堂列出来,供老师 参考。 Names Ways of English learning Li Yan You Good ways of English learning do tasks act in drama do role plays tell stories in English have an English party sing and dance chant play games use dictionaries see English movies go on the internet talk with foreigners .
