I was thankful that Huhu finally found her good home. 看到这些,我终于放心了,虎虎总算找到了一个好的归宿。 feel relieved at this 六、语法项目: 直接引语和间接引语: 直接引语就是直接引用或复述别人所讲的话。直接引语一般放在引号之内。用自己的 语言转述别人的话叫间接引语。间接引语一般用宾语从句或带动词不定式的复合宾语表达。 下面我们主要介绍如何将直接引语转换为间接引语: (1)间接引语的时态往往受引述

22、动词的影响,如果动词是过去时,间接引语的时态通 常也是过去的某种时态,同时将人称根据上下文进行调整,当引述词是过去式时,间接引 语的时态变化如下表: 例如: Mr Green answered, “I work for a computer company.” 在直接引语中 在间接引语中 动 词 时 态 一般现在时 do/does/am/are 现在进行时 be( am/is/are)doing 现在完成时 have/ has done 一般过去时 did/was/ were 过去完成时 had done 一般将来时 will do; am/is/are going to do 一般过去时 d

24、 that we would have a visitor this Sunday. 妈妈告诉我这周日我们 家会来客人。 (2)如果被引述的句子是关于客观真理时,时态可以不变。例如: Dad said, “The earth goes around the sun.” 爸爸说:“地球围绕着太阳转。 ” Dad told me that the earth goes around the sun 爸爸告诉我地球围绕着太阳转。 (3)如果直接引语是陈述句,在变为间接引语时,由连词 that 引导(that 可以省略) 。主句中如果有 say to somebody, 通常变为 tell someb

25、ody。例如: Grace said to Alex, “I will go shopping and buy some presents for my parents.” 格蕾丝告诉亚历克斯:“我要去购物,给我父母买些礼物。 ” Grace told Alex that she would go shopping and buy some presents for her parents. 格蕾丝告诉亚历克斯她要去购物并给她父母买些礼物。 如果直接引语是两个并列的陈述句,变为间接引语时,第一个宾语从句前的 that 有 时可以省略,但第二个宾语从句前的 that 不可省略。 “That is
