Ask “Do these words have a short /a/sound or a long /a/ sounds ” Play the tape again and have the children say the words lound Repeat the procedure for the long /a/ words 3. Listen for /a/ Look at the book , ask student read it Tell them one words is difficult, le

12、ts listen and check it Listen to the tape Play the tape again , this time the children check the word that has a difficulty /a/ sounds Repeat the procedure for the second row 4. Read with Uncle Booky Look at the words Listen and repeat 5. Model the structures Read the cards , put the card “Dont”“No”

13、on the blackboard Ask student to write the word on a paper , then ask one student to come here and act out , “what does she do ” Lets read together 6. Lets chant Ask children what we should do when crossing a street . we should say “look right ” “look left ” from the chil

16、dren Tell them we are going to learn a rhyme about crossing street Read the rhyme to the children , pointing to left and right Play the tape for the whole rhyme , Have children listen and do the action Play the tape again and have children join in ,encouraging them to hum or clap with rhyme 5.
