Name. The name of the Organisation is the International C

Legal Status. Establish

Museum. A museum is a non-pr
14、ofit, permanent institution in the service of society and its development, open to the public, which acquires, conserves, researches, communicates and exhibits the tangible and intangible heritage of humanity and its environment for the purposes of education, study and enjoyment.1. 博物馆。博物馆是一个 为社会及其发

The Executive Council, after seeking the advice of the Advisory Committee, may recognise other institutions as having some or all of the characteristics of a Museum.2. 具有博物馆资格之机构。执行委员会经征求咨询委员会意见

Museum professionals include all the personnel of museums, or institutions qualifying as museums in accordance with the definition in Article 3, Section 1 ii. Breach of professional ethics; iii. Amount and Payment of the Membership Fee. Each Individual, I
18、nstitutional, Student, and Supporting Member of ICOM shall pay an annual membership fee (dues) at a rate recommended by the Executive Council and approved by the General Assembly. 1.会费的数额及缴纳。国际博协的任何个人、团体、学生及赞助会员应按照执行委员会提出的、大会批准的比率缴纳年度会费。Every year, the Executive Council shall announce the amount of

Period Covered by the Membershi

Special Status.

Voting Rights. The voting rights of Individual and Institutional Members at the General
