5、当的例子，推理论证你持有的观点SAT 作文考察的是什么？主要考察的是考生在一定时间内就某个特定话题给出观点并用各种具体论证手段加以支持分析的能力，不偏题是基本的。我曾经批改过这样的文章，题目是：Should modern society be criticized for being materialistic? 这位同学整篇文章大谈 modern society 存在的问题，例如 environmental pollution 等，却只字不提这些问题与物质主义的关系，也没有发表自己对 assignment 持什么样的看法，这样的作文根据 SAT 评分标准得分为零。从上面我们已经看出 SAT
6、写作与其他留学写作考试 (比如新托福)的不同之处。两者定位不同，新托福是语言能力测试，而 SAT 作为入学考试，更着重加考察一个学生的逻辑推理能力，要求学生的论证要严密有效有力。因此非常不建议把 TOEFL 写作的那套东西搬来用于 SAT 写作上，要想取得高分必须区别复习。SAT 作文同其他留学考试写作一样有时限，25 分钟限时的写作，但作文的字数没有硬性的规定。有些考生疑惑究竟应该写多长。？如果我们参照官方提供的样卷，会发现 6 分的作文需要填满一页半 A4 纸，基本等同于 400 字数。25 分钟内要针对一个没见过的题目写一篇不少于 400 字的有水平的 essay, 对第一语言非英语的考
7、生，特别是没接受过大学英语学习的考生来说是有难度的。如何合理分配 25 分钟时间呢？有些考生第一个 section 开始 10 分钟后还在思考，也有的考生到了最后时刻还没收尾。湛江市雅托英语培训中心 SAT 写作培训教材高等教育培训机构 雅托教材编写委员会 网址： 电话：0759-2296349 2我建议大家采用三步走的方法：第一步：读题构思写纲要。不超过 5 分钟，通常 2-4 分钟。一定要仔细耐心的读清楚 prompt 和 assignment，构思的时候最好简单记下你想表达的中心思想和打算使用的例子，一般选 2-，3 个例子为宜，想好如何把文章有逻辑的组织起来；第二步：书写作文。真正的写
8、作时间有一刻钟左右，按照构思的规划写论文，写作中关注词汇和句型的多样性，避免用词语不当；第三步：复查。4 分钟左右，写完初稿后，一般来说我们建议至少留 2 分钟的时候复读自己写的文章并修改。这个环节非常重要，一定不能省掉。首先通读，检查观点的陈述是否清晰，论据是否直接证明论点，论据是否有效展开，论据过渡是否顺畅，句子表达是否清楚。之后，少部分时间用来检查语法，着重注意一下时态、主谓一致、代词的使用和标点符号等等。范文PromptThink carefully about the issue presented in the following excerpt and assignment be

16、ng Lear. In the story, societal order is replaced with chaos when there is a power shift from Lear to his evil daughters, Regan and Goneril. This order only returns to a slight degree when virtue (in the form of Lears good daughter, Cordelia) returns to England. Success is hazardous when awarded to
