Since OPNET software is installed by default under C:Program Files, version 16.0 of OPNET software throws several err

Some common examples of problems include (but are not limited to):- 15.0 DCI works but 16.0 DCI results in a parser timeout - Importing topology from VNE Server generates file permission errors- DES without stdmod generates file permission errors- Running
4、analysis engines, NetDoctor, FLAN, DES, etc., in example networks result in various file permission problemsTo avoid this restriction when UAC is enabled, do one of the following:-*Workaround #1:-Install the software into any other folder other than C:Program Files. This will require you to- uninsta
5、ll existing 16.0 software- re-run the 16.0 installers and choose a different folder for installation like C:Opnet_software-*Workaround #2:-Run OPNET software as the Administrator User. To do this, right-click on the 16.0 executable (shortcut) and select “Run as Administrator”. (Note that this requir
6、es you to know the Administrator password.)-*Workaround #3:-Turn off UAC from Control Panel User Accounts.
