Writethat are interesting on the blackboard. Point to it and ask who can make another sentence with it. Write another phrase on the blackbo

Write these four groups of words on the blackboard,that has great lyrics,that I can sing along with,that isnt too loud, that I can dance to. Tell the students lyrics means the w

6、ords of the songs. Ask the students, What kind of music do you like? Say, You can answer with I like music, I love music, I prefer music Explain prefer=likebetter to them. Get one of the children to answer the question, then let this child ask the one next to him/her the same question. Set off a cha

7、in drill. Explain that I like music that isnt means that I dont like too loud music. 3. Show students some different kinds of pictures of movies and ask students to discuss what kind of movies they like in pairs. 4. IX. Language points 1. Hmm, depends which movie. 1) 本句省略了 depends 前的主语 it 和 which movie 后的从句部分 well watc

15、h,这是典型的 口语表达形式。在口语和非正式场合,为保持语言简洁明了,交流者往往会省略彼此所知 或逻辑上可明确推断的内容。例如: Anything I can do for you? 我能为您做些什么吗?(省略句首部分 Is there) Please hand me one of those books; I dont care which. 请把那些书递给我一本,不管哪本都行。 (省略句尾部分 you hand me) 2) It depends (on) who/ what/ how/ whether是一个常见句型。当 depend 后接疑问词及含有 疑问词的短语和从句时,口语中会省略

16、depend 后的介词 on,以求话语简练。例如: It depends what day you catch me, and at what time of day. 这取决于你哪天见我,以及见我的时间。 Well, as for this matter, I cant decide for now. Depends whether or not your dad will say yes. 嗯,这件事我现在决定不了,取决于你老爸是否会同意。 2. I just want to laugh and not think too much. 这句话中的 to laugh 和 not think

17、too much 均为动词不定式,但后者在 not 和 think 之间省略 了 to。英语语句中当多个不定式结构并列使用时, to 出现在第一个结构中,后面的往往会 省略。再如: She likes to sing, dance and hang out with her friends. 她喜欢唱歌、跳舞、与朋友们外出消遣。 3. I prefer music that has great lyrics. 句中的 prefer 意为 “更喜爱;更喜欢 ”,后可接名词、v.-ing 形式或动词不定式。如: I prefer the white bag. 我更喜欢那个白色的包。 Tony pr

I suppose Ill just listen to this new CD I bought. 仔细观察下面例句中 suppose 的用法和意义,然后补全结论部分所缺的内容

19、。 a. We are supposed to get there on time. b. I suppose she will be back next year. c. Do you suppose he will agree? Yes, I suppose so. / No, I suppose not. a. We are supposed to get there on time. (1)观察例句 a 可知, “被期望/ 要求做某事”或“该做某事”可用 _ 结构 表示,含有必须、应该做某事之意,相当于 should。 b. I suppose she will be back nex

20、t year. c. Do you suppose he will agree? Yes, I suppose so. / No, I suppose not. (2)例句 b 中“suppose +that 从句”意为“ 猜测/假定”,that 可以省略,若为否定句,和 think,believe 等动词的用法一样,应该否定_( 主语/ 从句),即否定前移;例子 c 中对疑 问句作肯定回答可用_ ,否定回答可用 No, I suppose not。 X. Grammar 在复合句中修饰名词或代词的从句叫定语从句 e.g. I like music that I can dance to. m

21、usic 是先行词,that 是关系代词 He is the man who I met yesterday. man 是先行词,who 是关系代词 RULES 人 (n.) + who/that + 从句 物 (n.) + that/which + 从句 关系代词 who; that;的作用: a. 做代词,代替先行词 b. 在从句中担任句子成分:主语或宾语 c. 做连词,把主句和从句连接起来 who / that/which 在定语从句中做主语时, 谓语动词的单复数应与先行词保持一致 I prefer shoes that_ cool. (be) I like a pizza that_
